DAY FOUR - St. Keverne to Falmouth
Today’s walk from St. Keverne to Falmouth was broken up by a few short Ferry crossings. This was a new experience for us, using “On Demand” Ferry services rather than a regular Ferry crossing time. You just show up at a spot along the beach with a hinged wooden sign, flip it down so it shows all red or all yellow and someone from the other side of the river sees it, jumps in a small boat and comes to fetch you.
The sun wasn’t quite as relentless today and we even had a short squall of rain on our second Ferry crossing. In total we walked 14 miles today arriving in Falmouth just before dinner. Hope you enjoy the pics!
