Arrivals….Planes, Trains and Automobiles

The Gathering

Well, we have all arrived from our various locations around the world.  With a great deal of luggage in hand, we have made it from the airport to London Paddington Station and onto our train bound for Penzance!  Pirates take heed.

(There are 6 of us)😂

During our layover in Paddington waiting for the Great Western Railway to Penzance, you see what a busy week it is in this Region.  From young music enthusiasts on their way to the annual Glastonbury festival or those a bit more well healed on their way to Royal Ascot… there is much to do in and around London.

Tug Boat on the Wharf on our way to our pub/hotel

After a 5 hour train trip from Paddington to Penzance, jet-lagged heads bobbing much of the way, we arrived in the harbor and made our way along the Wharf to our accommodations for the night, a couple of charming pubs on the water.

St. Michael’s Mount off to the East in the early morning sun.

We all tucked into some good pub food at the Dolphin Tavern for dinner and then turned in early to shake off the jet lag and get ready for our first day of hiking!  Then, as you can see from the pictures above, awoke to a beautiful sunny day!
